Free trial first
Every new Kikaron environment starts with a 6-week free trial of the Starter plan. No payment information is required to begin the trial, so most customers can try the full Service before any money changes hands.
Monthly subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the environment moves to a paused state for 30 days (during which you can still export or reactivate), and is then permanently deleted.
We do not refund the unused portion of a paid month. The exceptions are below.
EU consumer right of withdrawal
If you sign up as a consumer (not on behalf of an organisation) and reside in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your first paid invoice, no reason required. To exercise this right, email us at accounting@kikaron.com within those 14 days.
The 14-day right does not apply once you have actively used the Service in a way that consumes the contract (e.g., you have invited members, uploaded substantial content, or held a video meeting), provided we made you aware of this exception when you signed up.
Annual or multi-year plans
If you are on an annual or multi-year plan, cancellation refunds the unused full months on a pro-rata basis, less any discount applied for choosing the longer term.
Service issues caused by us
If we are unable to deliver the Service for an extended period due to a fault on our side (significant outages, data loss not attributable to you, etc.), we will issue a credit or pro-rata refund in line with the commitments in our Terms and Conditions. Contact support and we will work it out with you.
How to request a refund
Email accounting@kikaron.com from the address registered to your Kikaron account, including your environment name and a short note explaining the request. We aim to respond within 5 working days, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 working days of approval.
Exceptions
The following are non-refundable in all circumstances:
- amounts already refunded under another provision of these terms;
- chargebacks resolved in our favour;
- subscriptions terminated for breach of the acceptable-use rules in the Terms and Conditions;
- Custom plans where bespoke development, hosting, or onboarding work has already been delivered.
